what a sesh, my first diary entry ina while due to being busy! But had to be noted!! solid 25 knot wind with gusts of over 30 knots. The 9 meter mayhem handles the gusts with ease, and to be honest I hardly noticed it was gusty.
The right hand point off the estuary has started really firing recently, and today was no exception. Shoulder high waves reeling off down the point for easily 400 yards at a time, then enough power to get all the way back up the point in just one tack. Awesome. Session of the year, and how odd that yesterday the beach was full of kiters eagerly awaiting wind, and yet today with solid wind and rain showeres shooting thru, there was just a handfull of us locals on the water :)
